February Home Maintenance Checklist

Get your house ready for spring and summer by doing some inside chores in February! The air in your home will be fresher, and your furnace will run more effectively if you take a few minutes to do some essential maintenance. Make sure you have rubber gloves, a citrus cleaner, and baking soda on hand; then roll up your sleeves and go to work.

We at iTaskApp are here to help you get your home in good shape because, trust us, there is nothing more enjoyable than spending time with your family and getting things done simultaneously!

Here is the February home maintenance checklist with iTaskApp.

1. iTaskApp can review safety features.

Review the security of your house from top to bottom at least once a year. There should be at least one fire extinguisher in every place to put out any fire. Homeowners should practice fire drills, and everyone should know where to gather outside the home in an emergency.

2. Start with your bedroom

You've heard that your bedroom impacts how well you sleep. A restful night's sleep is more likely when you lie in a comfortable, freshly made bed. Once or twice every week, you can be assured that your sheets and pillowcases will be fresh and inviting when you go to bed at night. You can keep the air in your bedroom free of allergens and dust particles by vacuuming and dusting regularly. Bacteria and viruses can't hide in your house when you have this system in place.

3. Get your smoke detectors checked.

As shown by fire safety studies, modern furniture contributes significantly to the fast spread of flames. You must install smoke alarms strategically to make the most of the time you have to get out of a burning building. Smoke alarms are needed not just outside each sleeping area and on every level of the house but also inside each sleeping room (even for existing residences), according to NFPA 72, the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.

4. Clean the kitchen
