Discover the New iTaskApp Dashboard Layout: Features and Overview



In the ever-evolving landscape of productivity and task management, iTaskApp has taken a significant leap forward with its new dashboard layout. This article aims to provide a simple yet comprehensive guide on the latest updates, giving users a sneak peek into the enhanced features and functionality.


Navigation Bar is where you'll find tabs or buttons that direct you to different segments of the dashboard, such as 'Dashboard,' 'Company,' 'Messages,' and, ' Connections.’


In the iTask Dashboard, there are three main tabs: 'Task Board,' 'Finances,' and 'Clients.' Each tab has specific functions, which we'll explore to enhance your navigation experience. Upon accessing the dashboard, you'll automatically land on the 'Task Board' tab. This tab is organised into three sections: 'Regular Tasks,' 'Internal Tasks,' and 'Whiteboard.' These can be merged using the unfold button located between the search and ellipsis icons.


'Regular Tasks' display client-booked tasks on the itask.com platform, including active, requested, and closed tasks. 'Internal Tasks' are those you schedule for your team, and, like Regular Tasks, this section shows active, requested, and closed tasks.


'Whiteboard Tasks' refer to client requests in your area, which you can accept or decline, including tasks for quotation or instant requests.


The 'Finances' tab is divided into 'Invoices' and 'Quotes,' containing respective data from all your transactions. Lastly, the 'Clients' tab provides a comprehensive list of your clients.


On the right side of your screen, a calendar displays booked dates, vacant slots, and local events. Below the calendar is the 'Task Counter,' divided into six categories: 'Available,' 'Active,' 'Unpaid,' 'Completed,' 'Declined,' and 'Reported' tasks, offering a summary of all tasks you have undertaken.




Using the iTask Dashboard


The iTask dashboard is designed for intuitive and efficient task management. Here's how you can use it effectively:


Viewing Tasks:

  • Scroll through the task board to view all tasks.

  • Click 'Details' to expand and view more information or to edit a task.

  • Change the status of your task by clicking 'Pending.'

Adding a New Task:

  • Click the 'Add Task' button, indicated by a '+' icon.

  • Fill out the task details in the pop-up form and save or schedule it.

Editing an Existing Task:

  • Select the task you want to edit and click the edit button, symbolized by a pencil icon.

  • Make necessary changes and save them.

Filter Task Counter:

  • Use the dropdown menu in the task counter section to filter tasks by 'Today,' 'Week,' 'Month,' or 'Year.'


Navigating the New Dashboard


The updated iTaskApp dashboard offers an enhanced user-friendly layout:


  • Accessing the Dashboard: Log in to your iTaskApp account to be greeted by the updated dashboard. Its layout is designed for user-friendliness, featuring a clear navigation menu that provides easy access to different sections.

  • Task Management: iTaskApp's core function remains task management between you and your team. From the dashboard, you can create, edit, and prioritise tasks. This streamlined process ensures that you and your team can efficiently manage your assignments.

  • Project Monitoring: Utilise the task board to monitor the progress of your ongoing projects. Track each phase of your team's progress, from departing to the project site to material pickup, on-site work, breaks, and task completion. This feature also allows you to track deadlines, stay aligned with your client, and ensure that your team is working towards common goals.



The new iTaskApp dashboard combines modern design with functional widgets and task overviews, further establishing it as an essential tool for productivity. Explore the new dashboard to experience a more intuitive approach to managing your tasks and projects.



How to Use the iTask Dashboard


Using the iTask dashboard is intuitive and efficient. Here are some steps to help you manage your tasks effectively:


  • Viewing Tasks:

    • Simply scroll through the taskboard to view all your listed tasks.

    • Click on “Details” to expand it and see detailed information or to edit it.

    • Change the status of your task by clicking pending 

  • Adding a New Task:

    • Find and click on the 'Add Task' button, usually represented by a '+' icon.

    • Fill in the necessary details in the pop-up form and save or schedule the task.

  • Editing an Existing Task:

    • Select the task you wish to edit and click the edit button, often symbolized by a pencil icon.

    • Change the status of your task by clicking pending 

    • Make the required changes and save them.

  • Filter Task Counter:

    • Utilize the side section and dropdown menu of the task counter to filter tasks by criteria such as 'Today,' 'Week,' Month,' or Year.'
