Airbnb is banning the use of indoor security cameras in the platform's listings worldwide

Airbnb, the popular online rental platform headquartered in San Francisco, declared on Monday that it would prohibit the use of indoor security cameras in its global listings by the end of next month. Hosts will, however, still retain the privilege to use doorbell cameras and noise-decibel monitors. Notably, these devices can only be positioned in common areas, and hosts must transparently disclose their presence and location.
